HOW CAN WE LIVE INDEPENDENTLY?

How can someone learn to love who they are and not care what others think?

If we really knew who we are, we would never care about judgment, criticism or opposition. Facing observations of other people, we feel displeased, disappointed, worried… In fact, nobody can go through life with full confidence that he is free and independent.
Only divine education will save men from this world, physically, mentally and spiritually. That is, when a man knows that he should think good, say good, do good, and only God is his Judge. If he obeys God, he is happy with God’s acceptance. If he does wrong, he repents and trust in the mercy of God. He will not care about judgment of the world, because the world even judges Christ, Buddha, Muhammad… but it cannot punish or reward any souls. Each soul depends on its own deeds and on the grace of God.
Today, all people can get divine education by studying Holy Books in the real world or on the virtual world. It is quite easy and inexpensive with the Internet. More and more people save themselves every day.

Abdul-Baha says:

The first teaching of Bahá’u’lláh is the investigation of reality. Man must seek the reality himself, forsaking imitations and adherence to mere hereditary forms. As the nations of the world are following imitations in lieu of truth and as imitations are many and various, differences of belief have been productive of strife and warfare. So long as these imitations remain the oneness of the world of humanity is impossible. Therefore we must investigate the reality in order that by its light the clouds and darkness may be dispelled.
