OLDER PEOPLE USING THIS SITE?

How many older people are using this site?

I’m surprised, there are quite a bit of different ages on here. I always thought people older than like 40 were just incapable of socializing on the internet, ‘^_^ Sorry for the blatant ageism It’s cool though. Not hating on them or anything.

I am over 70 and I am answering questions every day. The virtual world is closer to me than the real world. I meet my friends and relatives up here more often than on earth. This is a good place for people of all ages as long as they can read and write. It seems that the gap of age, of cultrure, of education… is no longer a problem up here. We all can learn new world discoveries and tendencies, and we can understand one another more easily.
I need not to know your age and your nationality, and you don’t know mine, but we can converse as equal members in one house.
This is why I keep on encouraging my children and grandchildren to use Internet, with the hope that they can join hands with other world citizens in building a new world of love, unity and peace.
I vote for Internet as the greatest invention of all times.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Consort with the followers of all religions in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship.” Whatsoever hath led the children of men to shun one another, and hath caused dissensions and divisions amongst them, hath, through the revelation of these words, been nullified and abolished. From the heaven of God’s Will, and for the purpose of ennobling the world of being and of elevating the minds and souls of men, hath been sent down that which is the most effective instrument for the education of the whole human race.
