All things are new and old.
For me life is new, for my ancestors it is old.
For my learning ancestors the soul is new; for the unlearned people it is old.
I think that God is new with my recent learning about Him; but He is the Living Being Who exists from time immemorial to all eternity.
For me the Internet is new, but the inventors may know its existence long ago.
My answer to your question is made new in my mind, but long before us, lots of people have written great essays about it. Some philosophers say that we must be creative to cope with our modern time; while other philosophers say that there is nothing new under the sun.
The greatest philosophic theory today is about relativity.
Einstein says that holding a burning iron in one minute is longer than sitting next to a beautiful girl in one day.
It seems that we need to redefine words for our smooth conversation, but love cannot be redefined. We define love for ourself and we practice it within our own knowledge and volition.
Man’s intelligence is neither old nor new.
New Addition For This Post
Verily, verily the new heaven and the new earth are come. The holy City, new Jerusalem, hath come down from on high in the form of a maid of heaven, veiled, beauteous, and unique, and prepared for reunion with her lovers on earth. The angelic company of the celestial Concourse have joined in a call that hath rung throughout the universe, all loudly and mightily acclaiming: “Hail, O City of God! Abide Thou, and make Thy habitation with the pure, virtuous and holy servants of Thine; for they are Thy people, and Thou art their Lord.”
