Why do people still treat women like they did back in the 20th century? The times have changed, women are supposed to be equal to men now.

You are right, but most people still don’t know the equality of all human beings. Some have known, but it is still hard for them to live beyond habits, traditions, prejudices, heedlessness, false thinking…
We need lots of new education and new applications for radical change. True love and true respect will become reality only when we accept that we are all noble children of God and we all have divine missions ordained by Him. Otherwise, laws and regulations will hardly transform our society! Strong people everywhere still feel happy to oppress weak people, especially women and children.
Wishing that the UN and Nations will pay more attention to this important matter, in order that our children or grandchildren will be able to enjoy a global civilization and higher advancement in human values and esteem.
This is hopefully possible with human maturity and universally free education via Internet.

“Education holds an important place in the new order of things. The education of each child is compulsory. If there is not money enough in a family to educate both the girl and the boy the money must be dedicated to the girl’s education, for she is the potential mother. If there are no parents the community must educate the child. In addition to this widespread education each child must be taught a profession, art, or trade, so that every member of the community will be enabled to earn his own livelihood. Work done in the spirit of service is the highest form of worship.”
