Growing, developing, progressing; otherwise it is death.
The physical universe is as death or nothingness.
The plant is a higher form of life.
An animal is living on a higher plane.
Man is the most perfect symbol of life. He lives in both the physical and the spiritual world. Today, he expands the virtual world and his life develops more concretely and more abstractly on it.
The intelligent man will continue to make discovery in various fields, known and unknown to him, such as family, nation, global federation, planetary kingdom, spiritual realm of God.
The distance of education, in the recent seven thousand years of recorded history, is separating man from one existing naturally like a monkey to another marvelous discoverer as we now witness via Internet.
The more man learns, the more he will know what is life and lives as the most noble being created by God.

Baha’u’llah says:
“Retrace your steps, O My servants, and incline your hearts to Him Who is the Source of your creation. Deliver yourselves from your evil and corrupt affections, and hasten to embrace the light of the undying Fire that gloweth on the Sinai of this mysterious and transcendent Revelation. Corrupt not the holy, the all-embracing, and primal Word of God, and seek not to profane its sanctity or to debase its exalted character.”
(Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 324)
