DO YOU TALK TO YOURSELF?

Do you talk to yourself?

YES, MOST OF THE TIME.

I ask myself what to say about your question, my inner self says:

The body has no thoughts stored or written in heart, in brain, in blood. Thoughts exist in a ray of light connecting to the Sun of Reality. So, in fact, this is what I read on that light ray: The Holy Spirit creates man as a ray of light which reflects the beauty of God. The more man learns to know about his connection with the Holy Spirit, the more he can enjoy the love of God for His creatures.

I cannot talk to askers up here; I cannot talk to other sages among mankind; I cannot choose any books to find the proper answer. What I write here clearly comes from my invisible self. Without this connection, how can we progress spiritually.

Hence, from time immemorial, the Messengers of God keep on reminding human beings to ‘KNOW THYSELF’.

Yes, let us know our self and keep on conversing with him.

Abdul-Baha says:

“The meditative faculty is akin to the mirror; if you put it before earthly objects it will reflect them. Therefore if the spirit of man is contemplating earthly subjects he will be informed of these.

But if you turn the mirror of your spirits heavenwards, the heavenly constellations and the rays of the Sun of Reality will be reflected in your hearts, and the virtues of the Kingdom will be obtained.”

(Abdu’l-Baha, Paris Talks, p. 175)
