Remembrance of Christ and His Father in Heaven.
Without this, all Christmas parties are big waste of time and money.
Believers and friends should take this occasion to think about Christ’s mission with incomparable sacrifice.
He came and now returns, not for man’s indulgence in worldly desires, but for repentance and reunion with God in His Kingdom.
Reading of the Bible about the Paraclete, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit… will be very helpful. Meditation and action according to the words of Christ will be most profitable.
I regretfully see that nowhere celebration of Christmas is planned in this way, but only noisy marketing for buying, eating, entertaining!….
Praying that Christ will cause us all to see His Divine Power.

Abdul-Baha says:
“Verily, the people who rejoice in the day of the feast and enjoyed the tree (Christmas tree which) was decorated, following the custom of ancient times, are the people of superstitions. By the Majesty of thy Lord! Were they in the time of Christ, they would turn their backs and would not behold His smiling, glorious face; but today they in the shallow waters of their superstitions without discretion.
Therefore, thank God for His having privileged thee to attain nearness to the Blessed Tree which is grown upon the highest Sinai and is set aglow with the fire of God’s love, calling unto responsive listeners.”
