Knowledge.
I keep on learning and learning,
and I never think that I have enough
knowledge to conduct a perfect life.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Brighten our hearts, O my Lord, with the splendor of Thy knowledge, and illumine our sight with the light of such eyes as are fixed upon the horizon of Thy grace and the Day-Spring of Thy glory. Preserve us, then, by Thy Most Great Name, Which Thou didst cause to overshadow such nations as lay claim to what Thou hast forbidden in Thy Book. This, verily, is what Thou didst announce unto us in Thy Scriptures and Thy Tablets.”

THANKING GOD FOR UNANSWERED PRAYERS?

Do you thank God for UNanswered prayers? I do!

Good Question? (5)

I am thankful to God because He always answers my prayers.
When I see no concrete things as I imagined, I may wrongly
think that He rejects my prayers, but with more meditation
I realize that He answers my prayers by His way.
For example, I pray God for guidance, I always realize that His
guidance is clear and powerful.
He guides me to the reading of His sacred verses,
to the meanings, to the practice for accomplishing my
life as a world citizen.
In performing the function of a world citizen,
I keep on praying for guidance to overcome new obstacles.
Then, He shows me more Books, more views of other people,
more glad-tidings about new world tendency, so I can modify
my activities.
Therefore, I keep on praying for guidance, and from His omniscience,
He always answers in new ways with new power and new inspiration.

Baha’u’llah says:

“I pray Thee, O Thou Who causest the dawn to appear, by Thy Name through Which Thou hast subjected the winds, and sent down Thy Tablets, that Thou wilt grant that we may draw near unto what Thou didst destine for us by Thy favor and bounty, and to be far removed from whatsoever may be repugnant unto Thee. Give us, then, to drink from the hands of Thy grace every day and every moment of our lives of the waters that are life indeed, O Thou Who art the Most Merciful!” (Baha’u’llah, Prayers and Meditations by Baha’u’llah, p. 37)

You should be happy and thankful.
Their duty is to consult to find out ways to
assist you in making progress at school
and also at home.
Three persons are supposed to love and to
take good care of you are your king (president),
father and teacher. You will become best citizens
when they perform best their jobs.
Instead of worrying about their meeting, you better
concentrate your efforts to fulfil the duty of a student.
Nobody on earth is allowed to cause any harm to students.
Many youth in Africa are deprived of your blessings,
remember this and do your schooling more laboriously.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Today throughout the five continents of the globe it is Europe and most sections of America that are renowned for law and order, government and commerce, art and industry, science, philosophy and education. Yet in ancient times these were the most savage of the world’s peoples, the most ignorant and brutish. They were even stigmatized as barbarians — that is, utterly rude and uncivilized….The basis of Europe’s progress and civilization was actually laid in the fifteenth century of the Christian era, and from that time on, all her present evident culture has been, under the stimulus of great minds and as a result of the expansion of the frontiers of knowledge and the exertion of energetic and ambitious efforts, in the process of development.” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 9)

Abdul-Baha says:

“The more man strives along the degrees of attainment, the greater will be the unfoldment. The child born to the mother manifests this element of life in a more abundant degree than the child in the matrix. The display of the forces of life upon the arena of existence is incomparably greater than that of the dark and narrow world in which the babe lived for nine months. But when life attains to the summit of maturity, then its manifestations will be along many paths and cover many fields hitherto undreamed of.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 165)

ONE CREATOR WITH ONE RELIGION AND ONE MANKIND?

Because there’s only one Universe there’s only ONE CREATOR. Therefore only ONE RELIGION. Which one should it be ?

Good Question? (4)

Posted by pukirahe Sep 23rd, 2012 at 7:13PM

One is many and many is one.
One Religion of God is One Progressive Revelation.
From time immemorial, there had been inumerable
Prophets of God and each Revelation is called by
one name or many names.
See how many names are used to call Buddhism,
Christianity or Islam. These are Revelations in the
Adamic Cycle, together with Judaism, Hinduism,
Zoroastrianism….
In the Baha’i Cycle, we have Babi, Baha’i and others
in the following millennia. When we read the Books of
the Prophet of our time, we will know which are the
related Revelations in the past. For example, by reading
Christianity, we see its relation with Judaism; reading Islam
we see the relation with Christianity; reading Baha’i we
see the relation with all former Revelations.
The Holy Spirit manifests Himself again and again,
therefore only He is the Supreme Interpreter of all
Revelations. Without this interpretation we get confused.
The concept of One God, One Religion, One Mankind, cannot
be fully understood by human beings. Only through studying
the Holy Books we will gradually discover the relative Truth
based on our limitation of time and space.
Now, with all Holy Books available on the Internet,
we all can study and share understandings for broader
and broader agreement about this immense subject.
It is no longer the truth from me or from us; it is from
all mankind under the guidance of the Prophets.

Abdul-Baha says:

“The Sun of Reality is one Sun but it has different dawning-places, just as the phenomenal sun is one although it appears at various points of the horizon. During the time of spring the luminary of the physical world rises far to the north of the equinoctial; in summer it dawns midway and in winter it appears in the most southerly point of its zodiacal journey. These day-springs or dawning-points differ widely but the sun is ever the same sun whether it be the phenomenal or spiritual luminary. Souls who focus their vision upon the Sun of Reality will be the recipients of light no matter from what point it rises, but those who are fettered by adoration of the dawning-point are deprived when it appears in a different station upon the spiritual horizon.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Foundations of World Unity, p. 11)

ONE THING MAKING YOUR LIFE INTERESTING?

Reading.
One minute ago, I don’t know what to write for today.
Your interesting question is bringing thoughts to my
mind. I remember about the goodness of reading
and its results.
Reading news of the world usually causes sadness
with the trend of mass media on believing that no news
is good news. They report war, violence, sufferings,
struggles, calamities… And the same things throughout
the year. No or rare reports about peace settlements,
achievements, happy living.
Reading business development is more tiresome with
unhealthy competion, bad debts, real estate freezing, No
or rare reports about good trade and promising prosperity.
Reading religion is more confusing with terrorism, persecution,
abuse for politics. No or rare writing about enlghtenment
and heavenly happiness. Why?
Anyhow, I keep on with reading interestingly to see
more and more light at the the end of the tunnel. Not
mysterious light from heaven, but strong light from
the mind of mature and peace lovng mankind. That light can be
discovered with broader reading on spiritual Websites.

Abdul-Baha says:

“O people of Persia! Look into those blossoming pages that tell of another day, a time long past. Read them and wonder; see the great sight. Iran in that day was as the heart of the world; she was the bright torch flaming in the assemblage of mankind. Her power and glory shone out like the morning above the world’s horizons, and the splendor of her learning cast its rays over East and West. Word of the widespread empire of those who wore her crown reached even to the dwellers in the arctic circle, and the fame of the awesome presence of her King of Kings humbled the rulers of Greece and Rome. The greatest of the world’s philosophers marveled at the wisdom of her government, and her political system became the model for all the kings of the four continents then known.”

I love reading, hence I love books.
Most of the money I can earn in my life,
I spend in buying books. But, the problem
is that I have no time to read all the books
I bought. I think that it might be good for my
children and grandchildren.
And this passion can never be satisfied.
I am greatly thankful to the inventors of the
Internet who have quenched my thirst for books.
I download lots of books and I bookmak links
for further surfing.
The Prophet of our Day also stresses on reading,
especially the reading of sacred verses for
our spiritual development.
I pray that the Internet will soon become library
for all families.
