YOUR MOST VALUED POSSESSION?

What is your most valued possession?

Asked By MrNash 36-40, M 17 Answers 21 mins ago in Community

My life.
My body cannot be bought, or sold, lent or borrowed, taken or given.
My mind is particularly mine.
My soul is especially mine.
My whole life is uniquely mine.
God tells me that my spirit should use my body as a horse on the journey back to Him through His innumerable worlds.
By reading various Books revealed by the Messengers of God, I know that, among all things I should do, my sole purpose on earth is only to know and love God.
I know God by His signs and I love Him by living according to His laws and principles. Top achievement is to die completely to the world and to live only as absolute nothingness before His Presence.
In sum, it is life of complete selflessness.

Baha’u’llah says:

Be patient until such time as God will have proclaimed His Cause. He, verily, rewardeth beyond measure them that endure with patience.Inhale then the sweet savours of the spirit from the garment of hidden meanings, and say: “O ye that are immersed in the ocean of selflessness! Hasten to enter the City of Immortality, if ye seek to ascend its heights.” And We exclaim: “Verily we are God’s, and to Him shall we return.”

VALUABLE – WISDOM OR INNER PEACE ?

What is more valuable, wisdom or inner peace ?

Asked By Nimbus007 46-50, M

 Reply By Me

Wisdom. Without it, the so-called “inner peace” is fack or true peace cannot be reached.

A wise person peacefully goes through all troubles on earth. He is not an imaginary angel or a symbolic saint. He is truly a human being who walks the heavenly path with practical feet: he richly enjoys life among the poor, the sick, the captivated…
I see this through stories concerning the young and old servants of God: they joyfully serve children, teenagers, youth in various communities of all countries.
Their wisdom is not from their scholarly study, not from heritage of developed nations, not from tradition of royal families. They are simply children of all families like mine and yours, but becoming distinguished by catching the fire of love from God.
They earn their peace by giving their lives in the love of God. This is the new Reality before my eyes. And I believe that it will soon be seen by all searching eyes.

SOME PEOPLE TAKE THE BIBLE LITERALLY?

Do some people take the bible too literally?

Asked By: IMAGINATIONATWORK 36-40  20 minutes ago

I am one of them.
I did not understand the story of Adam and Eve, the resurrectiion of Christ, the end of the world…, until the time I read the interptation of Christ at His return. Yes, only the Holy Spirit can open man’s mind to His ancient and creative Word.
Various Christian denominations have made good study of Christ’s prophecies and got the date of His return due in 1844, but not many individuals have come to His new education.
All religions have promised about the return of their Founders, but believers deny Them at Their appearances!
We are fortunate to live in this digital Age that all Holy Books are accessible to our mature minds. It is hopeful that true believers will make independent investigation to see their Promised One.
As a Buddhist I am thankful to God for allowing me to meet Maitreya Buddha. The New Buddha omnisciently teaches me the truth about One God, One Religion and One Mankind. I meet friends of various religious backgrounds in this new Faith.
Sakyamuni says that He is not the first or the last Buddha. He is all Buddhas.

Abdul-Baha says:

In point of fact, there are Baha’is everywhere, not only in Mohammedan countries, but also in all the countries of Europe, as well as in the United States, Canada, Japan, India, etc. This is because Baha’u’llah has known how to transform Babism into a universal religion, which is presented as the fulfillment and completion of all the ancient faiths. The Jews await the Messiah, the Christians the return of Christ, the Moslems the Mahdi, the Buddhists the fifth Buddha, the Zoroastrians Shah Bahram, the Hindoos the reincarnation of Krishna, and the Atheists – a better social organization!

ARE THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE FREE?

Are the best things in life free?

Asked By: PrincessHeather 26-30, F  32 minutes ago

All things in life are free, from best to worst.
Love is best, hatred is worst, both are free.
Wisdom is best, stupidity is worst, both are free.
Forgiveness is best, vengeance is worst, both are free.
You need no money to buy these things. You freely use your intelligence to make choice. You can use them as much as you wish.
Light, air, water and all other necessities for our life are also free and more plenty than we need. Some people suffer scarcity only by their tradition and by unjust distribution of immature education and governance.
Mature mankind in this millennium will soon modify all things with divine education. We will all learn how to live happily with cooperation, sharing and mutually supporting.
God, our Father, loves us all equally.

 2. O SON OF SPIRIT! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Self-effacement.
I already possess the visible and invisible universes.
I already have the ocean for learning on Internet.
I already enter the presence of God.
Hence, no earthly goals are attractive to me now.
I am trying to live as nothing before God.
This make me happy, so I keep on calling other people to enter the presence of God to enjoy this infinite bliss. It is lasting happiness, it is eternal joy, it is all things in nothing.
I am really happy and thankful to God always.

Thou art the head of an assembly which is the very imprint of the Company on high, the mirror-image of the all-glorious realm. Strive thou with heart and soul, in prayerful humility and self-effacement, to uphold the Law of God and spread His sweet savours abroad. First World Problems?

Ignorance is powerful mother of all problems.
Because of ignorance, we fear, we do wrong, we create seemingly unsurmountable problems.
All old and new problems will be solved with true knowledge. Knowledge can be got through education (physical, human and spiritual).
True education is the one taught by the Messengers of God (Moses, Jesus, Muhammad… ) at the early and original state of Their Revelation. It becomes ineffective with encumbrant interpretations by men.
Since God provides problems for development of human minds, His love always makes sure that all are within their capacity to successfully overcome.
Loyal children of God seek for the Promised Messenger of their time.

The Bab says:

Hadst thou uttered ‘yea’ on hearing the Words of God, thou wouldst have been seen to have been worshipping God from the beginning that hath no beginning until the present day, never to have disobeyed Him, not even for the twinkling of an eye.  Yet, neither the upright deeds thou hast wrought during all thy life, nor the exertions thou didst make to banish every thought from thy heart save that of the good-pleasure of God, none of these did in truth profit thee, not even to the extent of a grain of mustard seed, inasmuch as thou didst veil thyself from God and tarried behind at the time of His manifestation.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT HOLIDAYS?

How do you feel about holidays?

I feel happier with the fresher breath of the Holy Spirit.
I feel more pleasant with the divine fragrance from Heaven.
I feel warmer love from and for this world.
Through the Holy Birth of the Bab in October, the Holy Birth of Baha’u’llah in November and the Holy Birth of Christ in December, I become more attracted to the Ancient Beauty of God and the new beauty of nature, and I keep on sharing abundant glad tidings right here and on my Facebook page. I will have more attraction to the Holy Birth of Buddha, Muhammad, Moses, Krishna, Zoroaster, Abraham … All will make my year a fully blissful year.
This is enough for me. I don’t need Christmas Tree, noisy Parade or expensive banquets. I wish that charity and spirituality will permeate our Paradise on earth.

Abdul-Baha says:

…  every nation has a day known as a holiday which they celebrate with joy. In the sacred Laws of God, in every cycle and dispensation, there are blessed feasts, holidays and workless days. On such days all kinds of occupations, commerce, industry, agriculture etc., are not allowed. Every work is unlawful. All must enjoy a good time, gather together, hold general meetings, become as one assembly, so the national oneness, unity and harmony may become personified in all eyes. As it is a blessed day it should not be neglected or without results by making it a day limited to the fruits of mere pleasure. During such blessed days institutions should be founded that may be of permanent benefit and value to the people so that in current conversation and in history may become widely known that such a good work was inaugurated on such a feast day. Therefore, the intelligent must search and investigate reality to find out what important affair, what philanthropic institutions are most needed and what foundations should be laid for the community on that particular day, so that they must be established.

Every day I answer about three questions up here.
Nowadays, my mind is always busy with thinking about God, man and education. So my answering questions is a way to converse with other people about the role of man in the creation of God. Then I share opinions from here onto some other websites.
I think that education is most essential for human beings to investigate the truth concerning man and God. Without education, we cannot get universal criterions for consultation and agreement.
In the past, schools provide education for quite a small number of people to rule local or national communities. With human maturity today, we need universal establishment of institutional governance for a firmly unified and highly civilized world.
So education will take place through internet, in each family, at any places suitable for democratic and peaceful exchange of views to bring all people to the level of world citizens.
Through this effort, I have an immense forum to cooperate with friends worldwide in this purpose.

Abdul-Baha says:

At a time when the East was enshrouded with superstition and hatred, Baha’u’llah flooded these regions with His glorious light. Under the chains He unfurled the flag of the oneness of the world of humanity; in the prisons He spread the principles of universal peace and brotherhood; from behind the barracks He wrote His famous epistles to the kings and rulers of the world, arraigning the oppressors of the earth and calling upon them in the name of God the exalted not to place their sovereignty above that of His Highness the Almighty. He admonished them on the part of the wronged ones to listen to the call of the new day else their kingdoms would pass out of their hands and would fall into the hands of others. “Know that brotherhood hath been proclaimed – even so hath this matter been recorded upon a mighty tablet with the strong pen of God.”[1] [1 Many of the events which Baha'u'llah prophesied are taking place today - and many are yet to come.]

New education for all human beings.
This education will enable man to know clearly:
Who he is?
His independent investigation of truth?
What is the purpose of his life?
How to achieve that purpose?
His relation to God?
His power as son of God?
His intimate relation to all mankind?
His obedience to God through His Messenger?
This education will be applied in all nations through free consultations and not at all through coercion by politics or by religions.
I believe that this will soon become reality with the maturity of the human race: Best education for a better world.

Abdul-Baha says:

The prophets of God are the first educators. They bestow universal education upon man and cause him to rise from lowest levels of savagery to the highest pinnacles of spiritual development. The philosophers too are educators along lines of intellectual training. At most they have only been able to educate themselves and a limited number about them, to improve their own morals and, so to speak, civilize themselves; but they have been incapable of universal education. They have failed to cause an advancement for any given nation from savagery to civilization….

From all standpoints the opportunities have been equal but the results and outcomes vary from the highest to lowest degree of advancement. It is evident therefore that mankind differs in natal capacity and intrinsic intellectual endowment. Nevertheless although capacities are not the same, every member of the human race is capable of education.
