Making sure that in all schools over the world
there are more girls than boys.
The reason is that girls are potential mothers
and first teachers of their children. If they get
a proper education, they will educate their
children into peace makers.
This will be good in all aspects of human life:
By ending the war, we will end poverty, hunger,
violence; moreover we will reach prosperity, higher
mental and spiritual developments.
Deprivation of education for girls was the
most painful blight of mankind.

Baha’u’llah says:

“It is incumbent upon thee to summon the people, under all conditions, to whatever will cause them to show forth spiritual characteristics and goodly deeds, so that all may become aware of that which is the cause of human upliftment, and may, with the utmost endeavor, direct themselves towards the most sublime Station and the Pinnacle of Glory. The fear of God hath ever been the prime factor in the education of His creatures. Well is it with them that have attained thereunto!” (Baha’u’llah, Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 27)

WORRYING ABOUT ELECTION RESULT?

If we elect the wrong person.should we worry?

Asked By: jan11 (41-45, F) 11 minutes ago

You can’t have the wrong person.
Your choice is only between two persons,
according to polls, each has reached around
50% of people’s support.
Moreover, the winner will not act completely
independent, but he has a huge staff of advisors.
I think that the conditions of each country, today,
depend more on the population than on the top leader.
Now, with the Internet, the leaders have more eyes
and ears than in the pre-digital age.
I believe that the conditons of each country,
as well as of the world, will be more and more promising.

Baha’u’llah says:

“In one of the Tablets these words have been revealed: O people of God! Do not busy yourselves in your own concerns; let your thoughts be fixed upon that which will rehabilitate the fortunes of mankind and sanctify the hearts and souls of men. This can best be achieved through pure and holy deeds, through a virtuous life and a goodly behaviour. Valiant acts will ensure the triumph of this Cause, and a saintly character will reinforce its power. Cleave unto righteousness, O people of Baha! This, verily, is the commandment which this Wronged One hath given unto you, and the first choice of His unrestrained Will for every one of you.”

The first thing that comes to my head.
With your question, my head tells me
that I can say something relating to
questions and answers. Then I develop
my opinions with about three opinions
concerning questions, three for answers.
Question must be clear, purposeful,
thought provoking.
Answer to make friend with asker, to cause
the mind to function and giving new thoughts
concerning the subject the asker brings up.
By this way, I can answer many questions at
about this same length.

Abdul-Baha says:

“I am astonished to find what a veil has fallen across their eyes, and how it blinds them even to such obvious necessities as these. And there is no doubt whatever that when conclusive arguments and proofs of this sort are advanced, they will answer, out of a thousand hidden spites and prejudices: “On the Day of Judgment, when men stand before their Lord, they will not be questioned as to their education and the degree of their culture — rather will they be examined as to their good deeds.” Let us grant this and assume that man will not be asked as to his culture and education; even so, on that great Day of Reckoning, will not the leaders be called to account? Will it not be said to them: “O chiefs and leaders! Why did ye cause this mighty nation to fall from the heights of its former glory, to pass from its place at the heart and center of the civilized world?

MAN AND WOMAN ARE EQUAL?

Do you really believe that man and woman are equal?

Asked By: higanti (22-25, M) 25 minutes ago

Good Question? (5)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 22nd, 2012 at 2:38AM

All humans are equal, regardless of gender,
because all are the breath of the Holy Spirit.
Their mission on earth are the same: to know
God and to serve His Divine Cause. Finally,
all come from Him, so all will return to Him.
In the primitive age, men thought they are better,
because with muscular strength they dominate
the family physically and economically. And
because of this inequality, socities made very slow
progress.
The conditions only change in recent centuries,
when Baha’u’llah taught about true equality among
mankind. And mature humans have made greater
of efforts in various fields of activities to cause the
radical change. And still women have not yet enjoyed
complete equality in education, employment and
governance of socities. More changes need be made
for a better world in the future.

Abdul-Baha says:

“People get together and talk, but it is God’s Word alone that is powerful in its results. Consider for a moment: you would not trade together if you had no income from it and derived no benefit! Look at the followers of Christ. Their power was due to their ardour and their deeds. Every effort must have its result, else it is not a true effort. You must become the means of lighting the world of humanity. This is the infallible proof and sign. Every progress depends on two things, knowledge and practice. First acquire knowledge, and, when conviction is reached, put it into practice.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Abdu’l-Baha in London, p. 107)

Good Question? (3)

Yes, right at this moment.
In answering a previous question, I thought about
education of children, and I got angry, crazy.
Adults everywhere on earth are depriving children
the greatest blessing for life: education. Even parents
still don’t give due awareness to this matter. We claim
to be busy with all sorts of things to abandon this
most important, most sacred duty: education for
all children on earth. What is the use of preserving
physical existence, miserable existence, without
education?!
Now tell me, what is really more important, more urgent
than providing education to children, especially
YOUR CHILDREN?

Abdul-Baha says:

“We also observe in infants the signs of aggression and lawlessness, and that if a child is deprived of a teacher’s instructions his undesirable qualities increase from one moment to the next. It is therefore clear that the emergence of this natural sense of human dignity and honor is the result of education. Secondly, even if we grant for the sake of the argument that instinctive intelligence and an innate moral quality would prevent wrongdoing, it is obvious that individuals so characterized are as rare as the philosopher’s stone. An assumption of this sort cannot be validated by mere words, it must be supported by the facts. Let us see what power in creation impels the masses toward righteous aims and deeds!” (Abdu’l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 97)

SWEETNESS COMES FROM DIVINE BANQUET?

Sweetness comes from your heart & your attitude towards the needy & poor people not from your outer appearance.

Good Question? (3)

Posted by pukirahe Oct 5th, 2012 at 6:04AM

Yes, precisely.
But attitude is not sweet enough like selfless love
to all people. Rich and powerful people also need
love, guidance, forgiveness.
Giving alms is necessary, but it maintains the world
status-quo. For radical change of this world, all human
beings need selfless love given through water of life,
divine education, breath of the Holy Spirit.
Luckily, this divine banquet is served abundantly
and without ceremony on the Internet.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Beseech ye the one true God to grant that ye may taste the savor of such deeds as are performed in His path, and partake of the sweetness of such humility and submissiveness as are shown for His sake. Forget your own selves, and turn your eyes towards your neighbor. Bend your energies to whatever may foster the education of men. Nothing is, or can ever be, hidden from God. If ye follow in His way, His incalculable and imperishable blessings will be showered upon you. This is the luminous Tablet, whose verses have streamed from the moving Pen of Him Who is the Lord of all worlds. Ponder it in your hearts, and be ye of them that observe its precepts.”

TAKING AWAY MAN’S FREE WILL?

If you had the power to do so, would you ever want to take away another’s freewill?

Asked By: Spiritchild333 (46-50, F) 16 minutes ago

Posted by pukirahe Oct 1st, 2012 at 11:04PM

I fully respect man’s freewill, because that
is the greatest gift from God to make him
master of his destiny and of the world.
If he uses wrongly this power, he will be
responsible for his choice.
By doing otherwise, I blasphemously condider
that God’s creation is not perfect.and condemn
myself to unforgivable arrogance.
Moreover, I see that human beings are entering
the Age of maturity to use wisely their freewill
to praise God in His boundless love and forgiveness.
Man’s products may cause injury to him,
but God’s created things cannot do anything against Him.
“All are His servants and abide by His biddings.”

Abdul-Baha says:

“Man reacheth perfection through good deeds, voluntarily performed, not through good deeds the doing of which was forced upon him. And sharing is a personally chosen righteous act: that is, the rich should extend assistance to the poor, they should expend their substance for the poor, but of their own free will, and not because the poor have gained this end by force. For the harvest of force is turmoil and the ruin of the social order. On the other hand voluntary sharing, the freely-chosen expending of one’s substance, leadeth to society’s comfort and peace. It lighteth up the world; it bestoweth honour upon humankind.”
