NOT SAYING ANYTHING STUPID?

What’s the best way not to say something stupid?

Good Question? (3)

Thinking more, speaking less.
Doing much, talking little.
Dancing often, singing all the time.
When not so sure, keeping the mouth shut.
Temper words with love.
Using pictures, symbols, music…
But why fear stupidity, when foolish words save lives:
Don’t kill them, the criminal of war is me.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Consort with all men, O people of Baha, in a spirit of friendliness and fellowship. If ye be aware of a certain truth, if ye possess a jewel, of which others are deprived, share it with them in a language of utmost kindliness and good-will. If it be accepted, if it fulfil its purpose, your object is attained. If any one should refuse it, leave him unto himself, and beseech God to guide him. Beware lest ye deal unkindly with him. A kindly tongue is the lodestone of the hearts of men. It is the bread of the spirit, it clotheth the words with meaning, it is the fountain of the light of wisdom and understanding….”

THEY WHO CRITICIZE HATE THEMSELVES?

Did you know that most people that criticize others do it because they hate themselves in some way. Why do u do this?

Good Question? (3)

I fear that you are quite right.
He who truly loves himself will not have time
to judge others. he must be busy learning, meditating,
serving himself, his family, the human race… Yes, he must
be a quite busy man.
And the more he is busy in service, the more he will
meet good colleagues, good collaborators, good
supporters… who work together like ants to build
their colony.
Those who hate themselves cannot have a good
place to stand in life, hence they come to hate, to judge,
to criticize other people. They do this because they
are in lack of of education.
For attaining a civilized society of love, peace and progress,
parents and governors should never forget to provide
proper eudcation for their subordinates.
A new world of the mature humanity must be
a world of high education, where most people
conduct their lives as virtuous world citizens and
world administrators.
God does not create a class of powerful kings to dominate,
to exploit, to harass a class of helpless slaves, of
miserable servants, of desperate outlaws. No,
He creates all equally in His image and likeness.

Abdul-Baha says:

“Therefore strive earnestly and put forth your greatest endeavor toward the accomplishment of this fellowship and the cementing of this bond of brotherhood between you. Such an attainment is not possible without will and effort on the part of each; from one, expressions of gratitude and appreciation; from the other kindliness and recognition of equality. Each one should endeavor to develop and assist the other toward mutual advancement. This is possible only by conjoining of effort and inclination. Love and unity will be fostered between you, thereby bringing about the oneness of mankind.”

Funny questions, right now it is yours.
It makes me smile with your “lol” and causes
my mind to write down these words:
Why do I sit in front of the computer at
this time when most people in my country
are sleeping well?
Because, I love God and I want to commune
with Him at the most silent moment of the day.
After communion, He gives me the joy to talk
about Him in answering two questions.
I think that all mankind need to learn and
practice the love of God, because this alone
is sufficient for oneself and for the world.
In the past, myriads of great books were written
about the love of human lovers.
From now on there will be countless books
about the love of God. Streams of tears will
shed on the lives of martyrs, prisoners, victims
of persecutions, and tons of laughters will burst
out on divine beauties, victories, intimate companies…
Luckily, we now have the immense Internet to contain
and to share them all for many generations of the
mature human race.

Abdul-Baha says:

“I am an Oriental and on this account I am shut out from your thoughts and you likewise from mine. A mutual language will become the mightiest means toward universal progress, for it will cement the east and the west. It will make the world one home and become the divine impulse for human advancement. It will upraise the standard of oneness of the world of humanity and make the earth a universal commonwealth. It will create love between the children of men and good fellowship between the various creeds.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 144)

YOUR FAVOURITE 4-LETTER WORD?

What is your favourite 4-letter word (it doesn’t have to be a swear-word!)?

Asked By: UnderEli 25 minutes ago

LOVE
God is love.
Things attached to love are good.
Music with love, poetry with love, painting with love…
all are beautiful, attractive, precious.
For some people, God is far, but love is quite near.
He who practices love, he is of God,
he reflects the glory of God, the greatness of God.
He who is educated in selfless love, practices that love,
he immediatetly enjoys the sweetness of Paradise
while he is still living on earth.
If you want, I can open the softwares containing Holy Books
to copy down thousands of sacred verses concerning love.
But I abstain from doing it, because many people only
interest in their favorite books, perhaps books against God!
In the near future all will make the search for themselves.

Abdu’l-Baha says:

“There have been wars and rumors of war amongst the people of the world for many thousand years; much innocent blood has been shed, many kingdoms and empires have been laid waste. Is it not enough?

Religion should be the means of good fellowship and love. It must upraise the standard of harmony and solidarity. If religion is conducive to hatred and enmity, its existence is harmful to the welfare of the community.”

EP IS THE BEST PLACE TO LEARN?

I don’t know certainly whether EP is best, but at this
moment I like it the most. More than half of my time
on the Internet is for EP and less than half for other sites.
The answering of questions up here is very
suggestive to my thinking and attaining new vision,
new thought. If this site interrupted for a day,
I don’t know how to maintain the working of my mind.
Other websites have also many great things for learning,
but they are not so active, diverse and open like EP.
Long live to EP admin and participants.

WHAT RELIGION ARE YOU?

What religion are you?

Good Question? (6)

Posted by pukirahe Jul 27th, 2012 at 4:34PM

Love of God is my religion.
It is not a confined organization with a label
to make distinction to other organizations
or groups of people.
It is divine and universal education for people
of all worlds,
Since the time of Adam, the Holy Spirit manifests
Himself with the Names of Zoroaster, Moses, Baha’u’llah…
to educate mankind about God and show all people
the way back to God. Billions of people have practiced
their lessons and enjoyed thankful reunion with God.
Formalities, rituals, ceremonies are abundant and various,
but the nucleus in simply and eternally the love of God.
This love of the One True God, expressed through
One Religion to elevate One Mankind.
Today, with the Internet, each individual can seek
and find this nucleus in all Holy Books.
I am one of millions of people who are learning
and practicing anew this eternal religion from
the eternal God Who is Creator of all worlds.
I believe that believers of all religions and
non-believers from all walks of life will
see easily this truth and become unified in it.
Yes, all religions are but the boundless love
of God for the elevation of mankind from
immemorable ancienty to all eternity.

WHAT TO DO WITH UNINVITED VISITORS?

What do you do when Bible Thumpers come knocking at your door?

Asked By: ChuckManson 7 hours ago

I have had Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses many times.

Posted by pukirahe Jul 27th, 2012 at 3:58PM

I would be very happy to welcome new friends.
They are really people of good will, of strong faith
and having high spirit for the service of God.
When we talk friendly and frankly based on
the words of the Bible, we will find new meanings
and new ways to strengthen the brotherhood of
mankind.
In the atmosphere of mutual love and mutual respect,
we may reach agreement on the broad and precise
concept of God, of love, of cooperation to conduct our
life in harmony among believers of various denominations,
non-believers, doubters and people of various backgrounds
and tendencies.
We want the world to forgive and forget our wrongdoings,
why we allow ourselves to nurture in our hearts prejudices
against the Mormons, Jehovah witnesses, Atheists?!…
Human beings are created good. Once we learn to treat
one another with love, respect and understanding,
our a world will become a paradise without insignificant labels,
accusations, condemnations.
We all need to learn about love, unity, cooperation and
practice them without prejudicial judgement.

Baha’u’llah says:
