WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT IS EVIL?

What defines what is good and what is evil?

Good Question? (4)

Posted by pukirahe Jul 10th, 2012 at 6:59PM

Truthfulness is good and it makes all things good.
You love your parents truthfully, that is good.
Nobody can read your heart, so nobody can
judge you as good or bad. Even your parents,
they may see signs of love, but they cannot
esteem how truthful it is. Only you yourself
know this truth, and therefore only you can tell
a thing which is good or bad.
And hence, praise or curse of other people are
meaningless. We accept them as courtesy, but
we cannot judge them. Other people don’t know
our truthfulness and we don’t know theirs.
But love, forgiveness, generosity… are always good
because they are the attributes of God. When you
practice these qualities, you can live with a peaceful
conscience, without worrying about applaud or criticism.
I believe you are good, because I learn from the Holy Books
and know that all people are born good. The difference comes
afterwards with sincere or insincere practice.

Year of Dragon, Day 161

I think that all sins are fully cleansed with
sincere repentance. God’s grace is boundless.
Our feelings of sadness or happiness may
depend on three things: sincerity, knowledge
and trust.
We must be sincere in admitting to God the wrong
we have done and returning to doing good things.
We must learn to know God and His love,
and this learning will make clear to us what are
the laws of God and how is true ebedience. We
easily do wrong again and again due to lack of knowledge.
Once, we sincerely turn directly to God
with love and knowledge, then our trust in Him will be
strong enough to disperse all negative feelings.
I pray and I believe that you will find happiness in God.

The Kingdomof God- not the God possessed by men
but the One possessing all worlds known and unknown.
He is the mightiest King from time immemorial to all
eternity. He is the Life-giver, the Love-giver, the Law-giver,
the Merciful Father.
He sends down numberless Phophets, each as perfect as Moses,
before Adam and after Adam, to guide mankind back to Him
on a spiritual journey through His world of creation and His world
of Revelation. Blessed are those who obey the Prophets of God.
All praise be to God the Creator and Sustainer of all worlds
visible and invisible.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Despite what thou hast done I entertain — and to this God is My witness — no ill will against thee, nor against anyone, though from thee and others We receive such hurt as no believer in the unity of God can sustain. My cause is in the hand of none except God, and My trust is in no one else but Him. Erelong shall your days pass away, as shall pass away the days of those who now, with flagrant pride, vaunt themselves over their neighbour. Soon shall ye be gathered together in the presence of God, and shall be asked of your doings, and shall be repaid for what your hands have wrought, and wretched is the abode of the wicked doers!” (Baha’u’llah, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 223)

WHAT’S WRONG HAVING DIFFERENT BELIEFS?

What’s so wrong about having different beliefs? Isn’t it good to be diverse?

Asked By: Stargazer18 2 hours ago

Good Question? (3)

The ideal is unity in diversity.
Buddhism in harmony with Christianity is good.
Christianity dividing among its sects is bad.
Hinduism in harmony with Islam is good.
Islam Shiihs dividing with Islam Sunni is bad.
Nations in harmony with nations are good.
Provinces within a nation dividing among
themselves are bad.
Indians in harmony with Pigmis are good.
Blacks and Whithes of Americas dividing are bad.
So, see how easy for each individual to learn and
practice how to live in harmony with all other individuals
to attain on earth to attain global unity.

Baha’u’llah says:

“Nay, rather it behoveth thee and those like thee to submit yourselves to them Who are the Manifestations of the unity of God, and to defer humbly to the faithful, who have forsaken their all for the sake of God, and have detached themselves from the things which engross men’s attention, and lead them astray from the path of God, the All-Glorious, the All-Praised. Thus do We send down upon you that which shall profit you and profit them that have placed their whole trust and confidence in their Lord.”

None, they aim at physical prosperity
without abiding happiness.
True economy is running the family
in spiritual progress and attaining world harmony.
Now, the world is confusing in seeking
more wealth for minority groups by impoverishing
the masses. I have made proposals for
a better economy in the articles on my blog.

IS IT USEFUL TO BELIEVE IN GOD?

Is useful to believe in a God? why the pie in the big blue sky why?

Asked By: TheFerociousBeast 3 hours ago

Answer by pukirahe Mar 25th, 2012 at 5:48AM

It is most useful for humans to believe in God,
the Creator and Sustainer of all worlds.
That is not a thing in the blue sky,
but the blue sky is only a tiny part of God’s grace.
This perfect belief will lead humans back to the Straight Path
that opens to a marvelous journey back to the Compassionate
God, Who is the Supreme goal for man’s pursuit of happiness.
In brief, faith in God is glorious beginning and end of all life.

WHAT IS GOOD?

What is good? what is the nature of an act or object that is good?

Asked By: burningking 9 hours ago

Answer by pukirahe Feb 2nd, 2012 at 8:52PM

God and His creation is good.
Conducting one’s life according to
the commands of God is good, otherwise
it is bad.
Getting true knowledge from the revealed Books
of God is good; self-deprivation of this knowledge is bad.
Self-education is good; judging other people is bad.
And so on, according to the change of divine Cycles.
