STARVATION OCCURRED ON EARTH NOT BECAUSE OF LOW PRODUCTION, BUT OF LOW EDUCATION

I have been wondering, if the world can produce enough food to feed the world, then why can’t we?

Starvation occurred on earth not because of low production, but of low education.
With the progress of science and technology, with the spirit of love and cooperation, humankind will surely enjoy not only sufficient food, but also with intellectual and spiritual satisfactions.
World organizations are truly making efforts in this direction.

World organizations are playing important roles in improving the conditions of the world, because their members are somewhat mature and selected. With the establishment of freer, cheaper and more efficient systems of education, the world will be changing faster. We need more talented and virtuous project managers on various fields of human activities, at all local, national and international levels. Individual and family efforts cannot answer these requirements, but the nations and the world agencies have to make greater transformation and more global plans to answer these urgent needs. All matters are on very high scale, so solutions cannot be shallow. Each worker has to be educated and trained basically in order to conceive clearly his duties. Work is not only for salary, but it must be necessarily service to the human race, who are in reality members of one world family.

The foremost condition is for man to know that all human beings are his brothers and sisters that he must help. The suffering of any strangers must be recognized as his own suffering. Otherwise, the world will continue to exist only as a flock of thoughtless sheep or even of wild beasts. Human beings, especially human beings in this Age of maturity, must gain new learning to organize and serve the new world.

Four years ago, when answering this question, I felt that it might take longer time for the world to transform. But now, at the moment of this writing, my hope is truly much stronger and my contribution is also more active. You see that I am posting these articles everyday, including Saturday, Sunday, Holiday. And it is done for no income, no applaud, no reward. Anyhow, it is already the greatest reward, because I believe that I am doing the command of God.

BAPTISM BY FIRE IS BLISFULLY COOLER THAN WITH WATER

What does it feel like to be baptized by fire?

It will truly give eternal life, the greatest favor of the One True God to humanity.
This baptism is not with physical fire, but with His boundless love. He who consciously knows the love of God will know all good things. This is taught in the Holy Books which are available on the Internet.

Asker’s Comment:

i think this answer very good but did not bring up the holy ghost which is or would be a super nature feeling from god

Of course, it is not wrong to believe that the omnipotent Holy Ghost can cause physical fire to become cool in doing baptism on us; but would it be necessary for Him to perform such childish miracle to win man’s heart? How much time will it take for Him to do such baptism on billions of His believers? Or will He do it collectively; in such case, who will recognise the miracle? In what church will the believers jump over themselves to come before His Presence for receiving the baptism by fire?

My answer about baptism by water and fire is based on the following verses in the Sacred Scriptures:

“4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” (King James Bible, John)

“3:15 And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: 3:17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.” (King James Bible, Luke)

”And this for no other reason except that Israel refused to apprehend the meaning of such words as have been revealed in the Bible concerning the signs of the coming Revelation. As she never grasped their true significance, and, to outward seeming, such events never came to pass, she, therefore, remained deprived of recognizing the beauty of Jesus and of beholding the Face of God. And they still await His coming! From time immemorial even unto this day, all the kindreds and peoples of the earth have clung to such fanciful and unseemly thoughts, and thus have deprived themselves of the clear waters streaming from the springs of purity and holiness….” (Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 20)

“O people of Justice! Be as brilliant as the light, and as splendid as the fire that blazed in the Burning Bush. The brightness of the fire of your love will no doubt fuse and unify the contending peoples and kindreds of the earth, whilst the fierceness of the flame of enmity and hatred cannot but result in strife and ruin. We beseech God that He may shield His creatures from the evil designs of His enemies. He verily hath power over all things.” (Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 95)

THE HOPE FOR A BETTER WORLD IS NOT AT ALL AN UTOPY

Christians: am I supposed to learn correct morals from the Bible?

Additional Details

I am a good person but I’ve never read the bible… I have a great set of strong morals

Definitely yes.
Christ teaches the worship of the One True God, and He shows absolute obedience to His Creator.
Christ teaches the lesson of selfless love and He practices it with His death on the cross.
Christ teaches humility, and He accepts all persecution with boundless love…, and thousands of other sublime lessons.

Asker’s Comment:

I find it kind of disturbing that Christians and all the others need to read a book to gain morals and that they cannot form them by themselves — that is really messed up.

Mature human beings don’t read one book, so the believers of God don’t restrict themselves to such narrowness. Nowadays we have millions of excellent books, written in thousands of languages. It is really very hard for human beings today to select the best books, or the best of the best. Then it is harder to make time for reading, digesting and applying their knowledge.

I think that the Holy Books such as the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, the Kitab-i-Iqan… do not provide the absolute truth to their readers, but they show us how to select books and how to translate our learning into constructive actions.

As a Baha’i, I believe that the Kitab-i-Iqan (The Book of Certitude of Baha’u’llah) is my best guide. Other Baha’is may think of other books. A Christian may choose the Bible, but other Christians may choose other books. Other believers and non-believers may select other books too. The requirement is not to impose on our mind any books, but to make independent investigation truth through any reading materials. And the purpose is to get the proper education in order to cooperate with other people in building a world of love, unity, peace, prosperity, progress…. And the mature humanity need a lot of consultations to reach agreement on education, love, progress… and so on.

I am really thankful to God for allowing me to see such conferences are occurring everywhere on our planet. Immature ideas and actions are still lingering around, but mature opinions are gaining greater and greater appreciation. Hence, the hope for a better world is not at all an utopy.
