In the ancient times, people use the names of God,
such as israel, ruhullah, mazda… to remind one another
about the high station of children of God. They live in love,
purity, peace.
Then they take the names of famous servants and
hanmaidens of God, with the same purpose.
Then comes the times of Babel, people live
purposelessly and they adopt any sounds as names.
In the time of Resurrection, people are reminded again
of the attibutes of God, so they adopt divine words
such as husayn, metteyya, baha.
Today, I keep on using acronyms of sacred verses
to compose my names, such as guun (greater universe,
utter nothingness), cleth (cleanliness, thankfulness),
thusan (thương sạch nhẫn – love, purity, patience) and so on.
When we get into the meanings of names, we will have
better understanding of divine unity. Yes, each name is
not a meaningless proper sound related a special person,
but it is a common attribute of God to attract man’s attention:
Buddha is not Mr. Buddha, but the Person of Great Knowledge.
Christ is not Mr. Christ, but the Messiah, the Savior.
Baha’u’llah is not Mr. Baha’u’llah, but the Glory of God.
All these divine Persons, bearing the Names of God,
Who are only One Holy Spirit to appear on earth for
the eternal purpose of salvation. They are not fathers of
separate human kindreds; but Revealers of one and
the same Message from God.

QUESTIONS ASKED THE MOST TODAY?

What kind of questions have been asked the most today?

Why suffering?
Will the world end by Dec 2012?
What is freedom?

I have answered no less than ten times to each of these
questions without results. They are still being asked
again and again.
The essence of my answers is that: these three
questions and thousands of other questions have been answered
by the Divine Educators, such as Buddha, Christ, Baha’u’llah…,
long before we ask.
The reasons we don’t understand Them
only because of our arrogance.
We wrangle in confusion without humbly learning
to know that They are all-knowing in order to
meditate on Their words and to translate the
meanings into actions.
Know that the answers, the meanings, the solutions
are given. It is our duty to learn and to practice through
physical, human and divine education.
Yes, all our problems are confusion
due to lack of education, particularly Divine Education.

Abdu’l-Baha says:

“There is a superior, a middle and an inferior degree which corresponds to the difference in the fundamental estates of creation. While recognizing the influence of education we must also become acquainted with the innate disposition.

The prophets are sent to educate this innate quality in humanity. They are like gardeners who sow the grain which afterward springs up in a thousand forms of advancement. The prophets are therefore the first educators of the world, the head masters of the world.” (Abdu’l-Baha, Divine Philosophy, p. 109)

HOW DO YOU DEFINE ‘FREEDOM’ ?

How do you define ‘Freedom’ ?

No attachment to the world,
like Buddha who leaves the royal palace.
No attachment to self,
like Christ to bear the cross on Golgotha.
No attachment to family,
like Abraham ready to sacrify Ismael.
Yes, true freedom is attachment only to God.
The right of speech, the right of meeting, the right of belief…
are not freedom. Because, the users depend on
those who grant the right of use, not to say the conflict
among users. Freedom without education becomes
the symbol of the animal: actions without responsibility
for consequences! Bribery becomes rampant in societies
where freedom is misunderstood. The buying of privileges
is thought as an efficient way to freedom.

Baha’u’llah says:

“The understanding of His words and the comprehension of the utterances of the Birds of Heaven are in no wise dependent upon human learning. They depend solely upon purity of heart, chastity of soul, and freedom of spirit. This is evidenced by those who, today, though without a single letter of the accepted standards of learning, are occupying the loftiest seats of knowledge; and the garden of their hearts is adorned, through the showers of divine grace, with the roses of wisdom and the tulips of understanding.”
(Baha’u’llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 210)
